- Register for the NCALGESO Workshop
We would like to invite you to the 14th annual Western NC Safety & Health Conference this November. We will be hosting the event at the DoubleTree Biltmore near the Biltmore Estate again this year and are excited about the new renovations at the hotel which will be completed before the Conference. But those are not the only big changes you will find at the 2013 Conference. Please check out the line up at wncsafetyschool.com
As the board began to brainstorm for conference ideas the concept of prevention through design was one we continued to visit. The concept aims to initiate a design process that anticipates and prevents workplace injuries, illnesses, and fatalities. Prevention: It's All About Design became our concept and we began to build our program around this theme. This year's conference is all about providing participants with tools to design out the hazards by assessing risk and developing better and safer solutions. Workshops and classes providing tools to attendees and sessions designed to look at topics pro-actively are plentiful. We hope to have you thinking outside the box for solutions. You will leave with materials to help you unlock concepts to design a world-class program at your site or possibly just spice up great programs in place.
We have some exciting keynote speakers and breakout sessions that have been spread across three days. We also have provided opportunities to meet other professionals in the Environmental, Safety, Health, and Human Resources fields. Our exhibitor hall will allow you to see tools, and ask questions about some of the newest products and ideas on the market today from service and supply chain companies.
Don't miss the chance to play in our golf tournament on Monday. Plan to participate in our special free reception on Monday featuring Biltmore Wines and Highland Brewing Company as well as food, music, dancing, and lots of prizes. Tuesday evening will allow you the opportunity for a private event at the Biltmore Estate include an evening Christmas tour before Candlelight Evenings are open to the public. We hope this year provides you opportunities to network, and grow personally and professionally. If you have any questions, you may contact any board member. Our contact information is located on the “Contact Us” page of the website.
